Curriculum

Luca Selmi’s research interests recently extended to the use of integrated electronics for biosensing and environmental sensing with emphasis on nanoelectronic ion sensors and impedance spectroscopy biosensors for biomedical applications. Previously, his research covered various topics in Micro and Nano-electronics. Among these: characterization, modeling and simulation of semiconductor devices (nanoscale MOSFETs, silicon bipolars,  and Non-Volatile Memory cells) with emphasis on performance assessment and reliability studies. These research activities have been conducted in collaboration with international research centers and semiconductor industries such as NXP Semiconductors, Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven and Leuven, INPG Grenoble, Infineon Technologies Villach and Munich, ST Microelectronics (Agrate Brianza), Bell Labs and Agere Systems, IBM T.J.Watson Res. Center, and CEA LETI Grenoble.
