Neuroradiology-Neuroimaging Neuroradiology is a specialised branch of radiology that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, using imaging techniques such as CT, MRI and angiography, together with minimally invasive procedures. Key skills include interpreting a range of neuroimaging examination, applying imaging protocols tailored to the patient and suspected pathology, and performing image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as biopsies and endovascular treatments for conditions such as stroke, tumours and vascular malformations. Neuroradiologists also play a collaborative role within multidisciplinary medical teams, ensuring patient safety, clear communication, and ethical management throughout the clinical pathway.
