Zanxi Ruan is a PhD student in Intelligent Systems Engineering at the University of Verona, supervised by Prof. Marco Cristani. Her research focuses on multimodal learning, vision–language models, and scientific deep learning, with applications in medical image analysis and computational pathology. She is currently working on integrating structural priors, diffusion models, and multi-modal data representations to improve robustness and interpretability in complex visual reasoning tasks.
