Le attività di ricerca di Annalisa Tirella sono orientate alla modifica di materiali naturali e alla fabbricazione di dispositivi biomedicali. In particolare, le attività si focalizzano sull'uso di tecnologie di stampa 3D e microfluidica per la fabbricazione di substrati per crescita cellulare e rigenerazione di tessuti, di nanoparticelle e microtecnologie per il rilascio controllato di macromolecole.

My areas of research revolve around the manufacturing of advanced biomaterials to engineer tissue-specific microenvironments; the use of emerging technologies to manufacture biomedical devices; and the design of nano/micro technologies to control the release of therapeutic agents.
