I'm Alessia Di Nella and here I have the pleasure of introducing myself to let you know my educational background.
Originally from Abruzzo, I have been living away from home for several years now, for study and work reasons aimed at human psychophysical well-being.
In fact, after high school in Human Sciences, I pursued the same interest with a more scientific approach, first studying Health and Molecular Biology (L-13) at the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Urbino and, then, Molecular Biomedicine at the Faculty of Medical, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (LM-9) at the University of Trieste.
During my academic career, I had the opportunity to carry out internships in experimental research and clinical analysis laboratories which allowed me to apply molecular and cellular techniques to understand the altered mechanisms in the various human diseases, developing possible therapeutic strategies that improves the patient's health condition.
Subsequently, the motivation to grow personally and professionally in biotechnology R&D was implemented both in a corporate context as an analytical scientist at the Faculty of Biomedical Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton and in an academic setting as a research fellow at the Department of Maternal, Infant and Adult Medical and Surgical Sciences at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
To date, I am enrolled in the PhD course in Clinical and Experimental Biomedical Sciences at the Department of Engineering for Innovation Medicine of the University of Verona so that I can express my personal creativity in scientific research based on the knowledge and skills acquired over the years. Here, I am engaged in a research project in Hematology at the "G.B. Rossi" Hospital in Borgo Roma, with the expectation of becoming more and more open-minded and broadening my own potential and background.
