Pasquina Marzola si occupa di:
Tecniche di Tomografia a Risonanza Magnetica nell’imaging tumorale con particolare interesse allo studio della vascolarizzazione tumorale anche in relazione alla sperimentazione di nuovi farmaci.
Tecniche di neuroimaging, come Diffusion Tensor Imaging, Imaging Funzionale con stimolazione e resting state in modelli sperimentali di patologie cerebrali.
Imaging Medico Multimodale: in questo campo ha studiato in diverse patologie sperimentali l’applicazione di Risonanza Magnetica in sinergia con la Tomografia a Emissione di Positroni e con l’Imaging Ottico.
Imaging cellulare: utilizza le nanotacnologie per marcare e visulaizzare il vivo cellule staminali somministrate come agenti terapeutici.
Pubblica su riviste internazionali del settore.

Research groups

Biomedical Imaging
The Biomedical Imaging Group is active in Experimental and Translational Biomedical Imaging, with main focuses on Magnetic Resonance and Optical Imaging. The lab is equipped with a MRI Tomograph (Bruker, Biospec 4.7 T) and with an Optical Images (IVIS Spectrum, PerkinElmer).

Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques Research activities in biomedical imaging include advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques, as Diffusion Tensor Imaging, functional MRI and in vivo localized spectroscopy. Multimodal imaging approaches to biomedical problems are also developed including Optical Imaging, Cerenkov Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography.
