Alice Rossi is a PhD student at the Department of Engineering for Innovation Medicine at the University of Verona. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Bioinformatics at the same university, graduating with honors.
Her research focuses on the acquisition and analysis of biomedical images (MRI, PET, CT) for clinical and pre-clinical applications. During her internships at the University of Verona and the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Integrata Verona, she worked on diffusion MRI data analysis and brain connectivity studies in patients with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Alice has strong skills in biomedical image processing and data analysis using tools such as FSL, MRtrix, and FreeSurfer, as well as programming languages including Python, R, SQL, and MATLAB.
