Tommaso Zanotti si occupa della caratterizzazione e modellazione di memorie emergenti (ad es. RRAM) e dello sviluppo di circuiti ad alta efficienza energetica per edge computing e IoT. Questi includono architetture non von Neumann, come quelle neuromorfe o di in-memory computing, e primitive di sicurezza hardware, come i true random numbers generator (TRNG).
